How One Degree Can Change Your Life

The One Degree Principle Makes Massive Shifts

Over the dozen years I’ve been coaching in the fitness and business industry, I’ve noticed something.

We have difficulty attaching ourselves to the long-term payouts of the current investments we make. We like the quick fix. Show me how I can invest as little of my time and money as possible for the maximum payoff. I’m not against analyzing your time, money, and energy investments this way, but I do know we are missing the bigger picture when we continually seek quick fixes.

Here are some quick examples of this principle in action:

📌 Grand and inconsistent actions towards loved ones instead of small daily actions in their love languages

📌 Unsustainable diets and exercise challenges instead of consistent good food and exercise choices

📌 Quick business tactics instead of building a foundation for long-term growth and business resiliency

Your life is the byproduct of the actions you did or didn’t take 1, 3, 5, or 10 years prior.

If this is true, it means your life 1, 3, and 10 years from now will play by the same rules.

This is where the one degree principle comes into play.

If a flight takes off from New York with an intended destination of Singapore and it is 1 degree off the coordinates during that 9,537-mile flight, it will miss its destination by 166 miles!

So while one degree may seem insignificant in the moment, it WILL have a massive long-term impact. Here are some ways to implement this concept:

☑️ Drinking water instead of pop

☑️ Walking instead of watching TV

☑️ Reading a book instead of doom scrolling social media

☑️ Appreciating your spouse instead of being critical

I want to know what 1 degree habit you’re committing to. Simply reply to this email and let me know your 1 degree. Let’s change that future destination together.
